James Ball

James Ball is a data journalist working for the Guardian investigations team. He joined the Guardian from Wikileaks, and the Bureau of Investigative Journalism in London. Ball was part of the core research team of the Guardian project Reading The Riots, aimed to investigate England's summer of disorder in 2011. Regularly his data stories are also published in Guardian's prizewinning Datastore, which provides in-depth data ananyses and also encourages its users to do further researches on the raw data themselves.
